ছাদ ঠান্ডা রাখার উপায় খুজছেন? আসুন জেনে নিই। আমাদের দেশ গ্রীষ্ম প্রধান দেশ। গ্রীষ্মকালে এদেশের প্রায় সারাদিন ধরে সূর্যের আলো পাওয়া যায়। এই রোদে প্রায় সবার অবস্থাই কাহিল হয়ে যায়। এর মধ্যেই যদি কেউ টপ ফ্লোরে থাকেন তাহলে তো কথাই নেই। বাইরের তাপমাত্রা যদি ৪০ ৪১° সেলসিয়াস হয়। ঘরের মধ্যে তখন তাপমাত্রা হবে প্রায় ৪৫ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস। এমন উষ্ণ ঘরে বসার উপক্রমে থাকে না। খাওয়া ঘুম সবকিছুতেই যেন অশান্তি লাগে। এমন ঘরে এসি লাগিয়েও খুব একটা উপকার পাওয়া যায় না। তার উপরে বিদ্যুৎ বিলের চিন্তা তো থাকেই। আসুন জেনে নেই ঘরে এসি না লাগিয়ে টপ ফ্লোর কিভাবে ঠান্ডা রাখা সম্ভব। ‌

ছাদ বাগান করে ছাদ ঠান্ডা রাখার উপায়:

ছাদ ঠান্ডা রাখার একটি অন্যতম সুন্দর এবং ভালো একটি উপায় হল ছাদবাগান করা। নিজেদের বাড়ি হলে অতি সহজেই ছাতবাগান করা শুরু করতে পারেন। এই গ্রীষ্মকালে ছাদে বেশ কিছু ধরনের সবজি চাষ করতে পারেন। যেমন করলা, শশা, কাঁকরোল, ঢেঁড়স ইত্যাদি। এছাড়া বিভিন্ন রকম ফুলের গাছ রোপন করতে পারেন, ডালিম বা আনার চাষ করতে পারেন, কেউ কেউ আবার ছাদে আঙ্গুরের চাষ করে থাকেন। এভাবে আপনার ছাদে প্রাকৃতিক একটি শেড তৈরি করতে পারেন। যা টপ ফ্লোর ঠান্ডা রাখতে খুব কাজে আসবে।

ছাদে সোলার প্যানেল বসাতে পারেন:

গ্রীষ্মকালে আমাদের গ্রামগঞ্জে বা শহর অঞ্চলে প্রায়ই খুব বেশি লোডশেডিং হতে দেখা যায়। লোডশেডিং এর হাত থেকে বাঁচতে আমরা আইপিএস ব্যবহার করে থাকি। কিছু কিছু ক্ষেত্রে লোডশেডিং এত বেশি থাকে যে আইপিএস এ ব্যাটারি রিচার্জ হওয়ার সময়টুকু পায় না। এমন পরিস্থিতিতে আই পি এস এর পরিবর্তে সোলার প্যানেল ব্যবহার করতে পারেন। বাড়ির ছাদে সোলার প্যানেল প্রতিস্থাপন করার মাধ্যমে সূর্যের আলোকে টপ ফ্লোরে পড়া থেকে বাঁচাতে পারেন। ফলে টপ ফ্লোর অনেক কম উষ্ণ হবে।

ছাদে সাদা রং করুন:

আমরা জানি সাদা রং সূর্যের রশ্মি বিকিরণ করতে সক্ষম। কালো রং সবচেয়ে বেশি তাপ গ্রহণ করতে পারে। অপরপক্ষে সাধারণ তাপ বিকিরণ করতে পারে। তাই আপনার বাড়ির ছাদকে গ্রীষ্মের তথ্য রোধের হাত থেকে রক্ষা করার জন্য ছাদের উপরের সারফেস এবং বাড়ির চারপাশে দেওয়াল সাদা রং করতে পারেন এতে তাপমাত্রা বেশ কয়েক ডিগ্রি হ্রাস পাবে।

ছাদে পানি ঢেলে:

ছাদে বেশ কয়েক বেলা পানি দিয়ে ছাদ ভিজিয়ে ছাদের ফ্লোর এর তাপমাত্রা কিছুটা কমাতে পারেন। ছোট বাড়ির ক্ষেত্রে, কিছুদিনের জন্য বাড়ির ছাদ থেকে পানি পরার পাইপটি বন্ধ করে দিয়ে মোটর দিয়ে পানি তুলে কিছুটা পানি ছাদে জমিয়ে রাখতে পারেন। এভাবে কয়েক সেন্টিমিটার পানি জমিয়ে রাখলে ছাদের তাপমাত্রা অনেকাংশেই কম হবে এবং টপ ফ্লোরে বসবাসকারী লোকজন স্বাভাবিকের তুলনায় অনেক কম তাপমাত্রা অনুভব করবে।

ছাদে টিন দিয়ে শেড তৈরি করতে পারেন

টিন অতি সহজে উত্তপ্ত হতে পারে। সন্ধ্যা হওয়ার সাথে সাথেই তা ঠান্ডা হয়ে যায়। কিন্তু বাড়ির মেঝে বা ছাদ কনক্রিট দিয়ে তৈরি হওয়ার কারণে সারাদিন ধরে সূর্য রশ্মি কংক্রিটকে এমনভাবে উষ্ণ করে যা মধ্যরাত পর্যন্ত তাপ বিকিরণ করতে থাকে। হলে সারাদিনের সাথে সাথে সারা রাত আপনাকে অতিরিক্ত গরম সহ্য করতে হয়। তাই সম্ভব হলে ছাদে একটি টিনশেড তৈরি করতে পারেন। যা সরাসরি সূর্যরশী আপনার ছাদে পরা থেকে রক্ষা করবে। এছাড়া টিনের পরিবর্তে আপনি ছাদে বিভিন্ন রকম লতানো গাছ লাগিয়ে ছাদে একটি প্রাকৃতিক শেড তৈরি করতে পারেন।

মালচিং করা:

ছাদে খরকুটা ছড়িয়ে সরাসরি আপনার ছাদের কংক্রিট সূর্যের অতি উষ্ণ কিরম থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারেন। খড়কুটা দিয়ে মালচিং করে ছাদের উষ্ণতা কমাতে পারেন। এছাড়া সকাল এবং দুপুরে খড়কুটো পানি দিয়ে ভিজিয়ে দিয়েও ছাদে তাপমাত্রা খুব দ্রুত কমাতে পারেন।

In this activity students will learn about the use of auditory and visual imagery used in this poem on the grasshopper and the cricket. This is a sample solution for the students. A + iii – a voice will run from hedge to hedge about the new moan mead – this line suggest the sound of a voice travelling from one Haze to another. This lines have created and auditory image of movement and communication.

B+ V – there shrills/the cricket song in warmth increasing ever – the word shrills and the mention of the cricket song evoke the auditory experience of the sound the cricket makes which ads to the imagery of warmth and increasing sound.

C+ i – hide in cooling tree – 3S a visual image of birds seeking refuge from the hot son in the sheed of trees.

D + ii – faint with the hot sun – create a sense of heat and warmth for the suns intensity

The poem “Crossing the Bar” by Alfred Lord Tennyson, is about the poets ideas about the journey from life to death. The poem reflects the inevitable death of human being. He also expresses his hopes for a peaceful and scerene passes to the next world. He also used the symbol the sea, the sunset, and the evening star which conveys the poets thought and ideas about the end of the life and the journey to the next world.

Yes, I have found several symbols in the poem. Those are:

Here in this poem, ‘sunset and evening’ symbolize represent the end of life. The sunset represent the ending of the poet’s earthly journey, on the other hand the evening represents the later parts of life means ending part of life.

Yes, I think the symbols play a vital role for expressing ideas and thus help the poet in this poem to express his feeling about life and the journey to the afterlife. Alfred Lord Tennyson uses different symbols to add depth and emotional resonance. The very title of the poem is a symbol. ‘Crossing the bar’ symbolizes the transition from life to death. Tennyson uses a good metaphor “Crossing the bar” to express his idea about the journey from earthly life to life after death. Here, ‘bar’ means the border of the life and the death.

In fine, we can say that the use of different symbols helps the poet to express his ideas effectively.

The huge greenery and open sky created a feeling of calmness and relaxation. The sound of nature and natural scenery create a sense of relaxation which refreshed our mind. It also create a positive vibes. Being surrounded the positive energy of nature, one can be optimistic about life. The walk in the natural helps to boost friendship among us.

Finally, it can be said that the natural elements and accompany of friends creates a positive vibes for being optimistic about life.

2. Did it evoke any specific emotions or memories?

Yes, it evokes specific emotions and memories like at the beginning stage a sense of excitement was created. The sounds of nature, fragrance of fresh air and beautiful surroundings created sensory memories in me. The beautiful memories created visual memories. The birds chirping, crystal clear blue water of the lake generated a sensory rich experience.

3. Were there any moments during the work when you felt a strong connection to nature?

Yes, there are some moments when I felt a strong connection to nature. The sounds of nature, fragrance of fresh air and beautiful surroundings touched my inner individual. These elements has made strong connection with me. Whenever I close my eyes, I can still feel the presence of that fragrance of the flower of the park, soothing breeze other evening.

4. How do you think spending time in nature can influence our well being and perspective of life?

Spending time in nature has numerous positive impacts on human mind and body. When anyone spend time in nature there stress level reduce dramatically. It also increase the physical activities of an individual. When we spent time in nature we found ourself in a relaxed situation. The natural scenery and beautiful charping of the bird made our mind soothing. While we were walking in the park, beside mental refreshment our body also became active. Time spending in nature also improve our concentration level. It also increases our social bondes.

In short we can say spending time in nature provides positive approach to become sound mentally and physically. It also made us more social.
